As the newest member of the band, Dan has played bass in cover bands and church worship teams. Initially inspired by music videos like the Police's "Every Breath You Take" and Mr. Mister's "Broken Wings", he bought his first bass and immediately loved how he could literally feel the notes he played and make a room rumble. As the only other lefty in the band, he's frequently tempted to buy a lefty bass whenever he sees one for fear they will disappear forever.

Dan was first introduced to the 4" Studs when his band competed for the same regional slot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Battle of the Corporate Bands competition in 2007. We've been friends ever since. He is also a gifted rock photographer who has captured us in action many times over the years.
